Maman Salada, Philippines’ representative for the prestigious 2007 World Climbing Championship was sponsored by Manna Tahiti on the main event where Salada bagged the 75th among 145 contenders of different countries. The competition was held in one of the best facilities in Spain, the “Complejo deportivo Avilés†and was participated by other 185 climbers.
As Salada quoted, “It is a festival of climbing activity. People of common interest amalgamated on the said event to forward themselves of their passion into rock-climbing activity. I worked for it and made my best to give away my enthusiasmâ€.

Manna Tahiti Philippines First Year Anniversary
Manna Tahiti welcomed the Year of the Rat by celebrating the first anniversary of their Philippine branch on Feb 21, 2008, wherein they showcased their collection of contemporary jewelry settings framing the signature black Tahitian cultured pearls.
The party was held at the company’s office located as Esteban Street Legaspi Village Makati City and was attended by VIP’s and other well-known personalities from the corporate industry.
Manna Tahiti’s Makati office not only serves as a showroom for their classic pieces but also allows interested guests to look at their work area where they delicately secure each pearl into fine sterling silver settings. Also on display is their latest creation of multi-colored pearls each set in sterling silver cups fastened by 14K gold clasp which makes a stunning innovation for the Arii Signature Cup Choker.

The Birth of Manna Tahiti Philippines
Manna Tahiti Philippines opened its door to the public in February 8, 2007 in joint celebration of the welcoming of the Year of the Pig. The intimate and remarkable event was held at La Cabane Restaurant in Makati City, Philippines and was attended by close friends and relatives.
The half Chinese Stanley Siu, founder and owner of Manna Tahit Pearl Co., believes that the Chinese New Year landmarks the time they have opened, “Every year there on, we will look at Chinese New Year as another chapter to unveil in Manna Tahiti’s historyâ€. Stanley Siu of Manna-Tahiti Pearl Company® Named Finalist in the 2006 Saul Bell Design Award Competition
Designer and jewelry manufacturer Stanley Siu of Manna-Tahiti Pearl Company® in Oakland, California, was recently recognized as a finalist in the 2006 Saul Bell Design Award competition for jewelry design. Both the designer and his jewelry piece were honored in Las Vegas during The JCK Show—Las Vegas in June. Siu’s notable piece, “Bamboo Silver Bracelet†was hand-fabricated from sterling silver. The wristband features a bamboo texture and showcases two 11mm black Tahitian pearls. Siu designed the piece using a CAD program, created a 3-D wax model from the rendering and cast the design in sterling silver. Siu was also a finalist in the Beads category in the 2005 competition.
